Verschiedene Viren haben sich bei uns eingenistet und vorübergehend lahm gelegt.

Pech!

Schade ist, dass unsere Maus wegen so eines doofen Viruses morgen nicht ihr erstes Zeugnis abholen können wird.

Hoffentlich kann sie wenigstens nächste Woche

die beiden Ferientage geniessen.

A few viruses are currently feeling pretty comfy in our home and stopped many of the nice things we

planned to do.

It's a real pity that our mouse won't be able to pick up her first school report tomorrow.

But I hope she'll be feeling better again next

week to enjoy her two days off.

Unsere Katze geniesst das und hat Spass an den entstehenden Wollknäulen.

Our cat just loves the extra attention and Andrea making balls of yarn.

Zwischendurch hatten wir noch unser neues Schlafzimmer ein wenig weiter dekoriert, Bücherregale aufgehangen und noch ein bisschen mehr angepinselt.

Schön ist's geworden.

In between we decorated our new bedroom a little bit more, added som bookshelves here and there and also a little more colour.

It's pretty nice now.

Und wenn ich mal nicht gerade zum Arzt muss, oder den Haushalt mache, koche, vorlese oder Taxi spiele, werden kleine Blümchen für mein neues Projekt gehäkelt. Sie sind richtig niedlich, nach dem schönen Tutorial von EASY. Bald kommen noch frischgrüne Blätter dazu... Foto's kommen dann natürlich auch.

And when I don't have to go to the doctor, do chores, cook, read to the kids or play taxi, I have time to crochet little flowers for my new project. They are so cute! I uses the (great!) tutorial from EASY. I'll soon have enough (for now) and can start on making some fresh, green leaves. Pictures will follow.

Gestern war's so schön mild und sonnig - richtiges Frühlingswetter! Ich bekam Lust, unsere Fensterbank ein weing zu begrünen, schnappte mir den Kleinen und ein wenig Erde und habe ein paar Kräuter gepflanzt. War schön... Und jetzt freue ich mich auf ein bisschen frisches Grün...

The weather was incredibly mild and sunny yesterday - real spring-weather! I got in the mood for something green and took Max to plant some seeds and grow some herbs. So nice... Now I can't wait to have some fresh freen leaves peaking out...

In der letzten Zeit hatte ich irgendwie zu gar nichts richtig Lust. War auch mal schön nur zu lesen, mit den Kindern zu spielen und einfach nichts zu tun.

Und wieder ein Loch - Another hole

Der Stapel der Hosen, die noch mal geflickt werden können war eine zeitlang beträchtlich geschrumpft. Jetzt aber sind wieder ein paar da und der schöne Stoff mit den roten Punkten hat mich so angelacht... =)
Andrea hat sich wahnsinnig gefreut.
Ob ich auf meine Hose wohl auch so ein Herzchen machen kann???

The stack of pants with holes that needed mending was pretty small for quite a while, but now there are a few waiting to be patched up again. With the cute fabric I just couldn't resist... =)
Andrea was so happy about it.
Maybe it's a good idea for one of my jeans as well???

Feeenhäuschen - Little Fairyhouse

Die Kinder haben Ferien und wir machen lecker nix. Na ja, die üblichen Weihnachtsferienaktivitäten, wie neue Spielsachen aufbauen, mit ihnen spielen, draussen im Schnee(matsch) spielen - und gaaaaanz viel aufräumen.
Zum Basteln waren wir noch nicht wirklich wieder gekommen, aber jetzt hatte ich den Karton wieder gefunden, mit dem man ein Feeenhäuschen selber basteln kann. Prima!! Nicht zuuu viel basteln, geht schnell und macht Spass. Also, letzteres stimmt auf jeden Fall, abba schnell ging's nicht. Schön war's aber trotzdem und Andrea war unglaublich stolz auf ihre eigene kleine Kreation.

The kids are still enjoying their time off and we all enjoy doing nothing. Well, not exactly nothing, but the usual Christmas-sy time-off activities like setting up new toys, playing with them, playing outside in the (muddy...)snow and lots of cleaning up.
We didn't really had the time yet to start crafting again, but then I found the box Andrea got for making her own fairy house. Great!! Not toooo much to craft, it wouldn't take toooo much time and it would be fun - or so I thought. It was fun, but it took quite a lot of time. But it was great - especially seeing Andrea so very proud of her own little creation.

Ich hoffe, Ihr hattet ein wundervolles Sylvester und seid mindestens genauso gespannt wie ich, was dieses neue Jahr uns so zu bieten hat. Ich kann's kaum noch erwarten...
